The Helping Center of Marble Falls provides nourishment and limited financial support to our neighbors in need in a dignified and hope-filled setting. As a unified community of Christians, we also offer opportunities for education, fellowship and referrals providing a path to self-sufficiency.

COOKING DEMO/GIVE-AWAY| Thursday, March 17 | 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Join us for this month’s cooking demo featuring Easy Beef Meatloaf. Enjoy a
sample, learn how to make this tasty recipe, and take home a free non-stick
loaf pan.
COMING SOON | BLESSINGS OF EASTER at THE HELPING CENTER |
April 4-14 | During early April, local pastors and church leaders will be on
hand in the Client Shopping Area to welcome shoppers. Smiles and Easter
cards designed by children of the Highland Lakes Boys and Girls Club will be
shared. We will also offer confidential prayer intention cards.
COMING NEXT MONTH! | HEALTHY4LIFE Health Fair | Mark your
calendars for Saturday, April 23, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, as The Helping Center
launches its 1st annual community-wide health fair. The event will feature
healthcare providers, free information and give-aways, free food, kids’ games,
and more.
BIRTHDAY BAGS | The Helping Center is now offering free birthday bags to
parents of children 12 and under. If your child has a birthday this month, ask
for this free gift. Includes a cake mix and frosting and a variety of other small
items as available (candles, banner, crown, toys). The Helping Center
celebrates the gift of your child’s life!
THE GIFT OF CHOICE
God has given us many wonderful gifts. One of the most powerful gifts He
provides is the gift of choice. Can you imagine a world without choices?
We can choose to accept God’s love, or we can choose to ignore and
squander it. We can choose to share God’s love with others, or we can choose
to live small, self-centered lives. We can choose happiness – even in the midst
of difficult times – or we can choose inner turmoil. We have many choices to
make in our daily lives, and these choices can open or close many doors.
What choices, large and small, are you making today? Are you open to God’s
love in all the choices you make?
