Deserts, mountains, oceans and plains combine to make the world a beautiful and magnificent place. Likewise; different sizes, shapes, colors & perspectives of human beings are a part of God’s grand design. From the moment of our conception and throughout our individual life journeys, each of us is a unique creation of our loving Father. Think about it – there is nobody exactly like you!

As imperfect human beings, rather than embrace the diversity of His creation, we sometimes have ill feelings toward those who are not like us. At these times, we should imagine how limiting it would be if we all looked, acted, and believed in the same way. Jesus taught us that the greatest commandment is to love God with your whole heart and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. By sharing His love with ALL our brothers and sisters, we honor our Lord and participate in His grand design  of diversity.

One of our most  precious resources is time.

TV watching and internet surfing can be enjoyable pastimes. However, those hours can really add up. Averaging 2 hours a day over the course of 60 years amounts to 5 years of screen time.

When you reach for your remote or smartphone, ask yourself this question; is this the best investment of my time.

Other options can include reading, exercise, family time, or reaching out to a neighbor in need.
